2015 Kodiak Ultimate 291RESL 

What I liked most: The layout, color scheme and features make it a great trailer for the guy who is looking for something a little more masculine or metro sexual. The quality is something that I have been very disappointed with. Not only did I purchase my unit new and spend several thousand on upgrades I have spent at least 3k shortly after the 1 year warranty. Shortly after the 1 year warranty ended the kitchen slide out has malfunctioned and cost me 400.00 just to have a mobile service come out and get it in. Trust me. It was not something just anyone could do. The laminate around the fireplace has pulled away and bubbled. Poor adhesive. The dump tank handle broke on the black handle and froze solid on the gray handle. Costing almost 900. to fix those items. I keep my unit stored indoors. Have purchased slide out covers for the slide outs. Upgraded the shower faucet/shower head, sink faucet. Had the Satellite installed at the cost of an extra 200.00 because I was told that each connection would allow for me to watch different channels at each connection. Not so, I had to spend more money to have it rewired to do what I was told it would do. I have had to have the sofa repaired 3x. That luckily was under warranty. I was also told it was totally wired and preducted for the 2nd AC. I later found that was not true. Its 50amp ready. To run a separate thermostat and duct work is alot more money. I added Internet and Security to the unit also. I also had faux custom tile work put in the kitchen and bath. I really hoped that I would be happy with the product. I have had 3 Dutchman products prior and boy am I disappointed. Lets see what I am charged for the slide out repair. I am sure that I will be forced to shell out some serious cash again.

What I'd improve: The warranty product. I have never been so disappointed with a Dutchman product. The salesperson really talked up the product and said that he would not recommend the extended warranty because of the quality being so good. Improve your QA before the product leaves the plant. Many of my issues at first were cosmetic and should have been caught.
