If you are really wanting to step up your camping game, then come choose this Mallard 26 travel trailer by Heartland RV. This model features a single slide out, a rear set of double bunk beds, and an outside kitchen.
To the left of the entry door your will find the kitchen area with an L-shaped counter, a double sink, a three burner range, plus an overhead cabinet for your dishes. Store your perishables in the refrigerator, and your canned goods in the pantry. You will love how open and spacious this area is thanks to the slide out. Located within the slide out there is a sofa and a dinette. At night, easily convert the dinette and sofa into additional sleeping space. Along the front of this area there is an entertainment center.
In the rear of this model is where you will find the set of double bunk beds. Here there is sleeping space for four people.
The bathroom is also in the rear of the trailer. Here you will find a toilet, a shower, a sink, and a medicine cabinet.
Heading back toward the front of this model, and you will find sliding doors on either side of the entertainment center which closes off and gives a bit more privacy in the bedroom. Here there is a queen bed, two wardrobes for your hang up clothes, and an overhead cabinet.
Outside you will find an outdoor kitchen with a slide cook top with two burners, a refrigerator, and a sink, plus more!

What I liked most: Overall I like the design and the visual appeal. The sleeping capacity for a family is a must with the bunk beds, the queen sleeper in the front and the ability to make down the love seat and the dining area. (Family of 7 here) As a camper its pretty good. If one was forced to live in it, it would get tight fast though.
What I'd improve: Just small stuff really. There isn't as much storage as I would like, both inside and under the RV. Also The light fixture above the dining area fell off on a bumpy road at low speed. It wasn't hard to fix and I could have had the warranty take care of it but all it took was a couple of anchor screws. Still not something you want to have happen on a brand new camper. I did have to get a tech to come out though and replace the power button on the fridge. Warranty work.9 years ago | Jon I. from Weiser, ID
