Puma 30-RKSS Reviews

What I liked most: Traded a 04 Laredo 5th wheel in on the trailer. The trailer has a high level of class. Cherry wood, leather, and marble-type counter tops. Super TV, and Sealy mattress. NICE flooring and rear kitchen. I am 57 and this trailer has a look of luxury not a look of a submarine.

What I'd improve: I probably paid top dollar for the trailer but it is a 2016 and has the feel of a lincoln instead of a ford.

What I liked most: We purchased a Puma 30-RKSS in 2013 because of the rear kitchen. We love the floor plan, but the quality of the unit is sub par. We took delivery of the unit and put it on the road for a 3000 mile round trip. We started having issues almost immediately. Screws were vibrating out, doors were falling off, ac wasnt working, electric awning would go out, but not retract, kitchen sink leaked, shower leaked, and the slide seal kept chattering out. We lost a leveling jack, tow harness drug the ground because it was too long, lights would dim as you turned more on, DVD/radio became inoperable, and the TV cable was disconnceted. Needless to say, we had a 30 point punch list for repair when we brought it back from the first trip. This is the 5th RV we have owned in 30 years, and never had these issues in the past.

What I'd improve: We took the unit in for service and they supposedly replaced the seal on the slide, and fixed the shower leak. They replaced the axles saying that caused the vibration issue. We took the unit on another trip, much shorter this time, and still had the screws vibrating out of vents, and the seal chattered out of the slide. We serviced it and serviced it, and are still having all of the same issues as before. We are now out of warrantee, the cheap cabinets are water damaged around the slide and in the bath

What I liked most: The best things are the modern and high quality interior.

What I'd improve: I wonder if I should have purchased a wood and aluminum trailer? I do not recall a fiberglass option. Salesman convinced me the wood and aluminum trailer will be fine.
