Great livability
2013 Salem 27RKSS
What I liked most: Owned this trailer for almost 4 years now. We have pulled it over 30,000 miles so far. Its been holding together quite well. The first set of tires were of low quality, but this is what I expected. On the third set of tires now and just had all bushings replaced on the suspension. There have been a few adjustments here and there, but overall an excellent unit for the money. Put a full size queen mattress in, and also tore out the dinette and put in a round table and 2 chairs. A big improvement! We have done a lot of camping in this trailer and a ton of highway miles. I think you will be satisfied with this trailer.
What I'd improve: Offer a table and chairs option. The dinette cushions weren't so great. Other upholstery is fine.9 years ago | Steve Z. from Dickinson, TX -
Upscale Feel
2016 Salem 27RKSS
What I liked most: Easy to walk around the bed in the master bedroom. Open and light decor styling in the living areas. Plenty of seating with the dual recliners and opposite facing love seat. Ability to access the storage in the front of the loveseat. Plenty of good storage in the rear kitchen. Pantry appears small until you open it and realize it's wider than the cabinet door is iteself.
What I'd improve: Have to mount TV on the wall and turn it at quite an angle to be viewable from recliners.10 years ago | Kevin W. from Midland, MI
