FD2 Floor Plan – Big Luxury in a Small Footprint
The FD2, short for Front Bath on the Driver Side with 2 Captains Chairs, is Midwest Automotive Designs’ most compact RV floor plan on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform—measuring just 19 feet 7 inches in length.
Don’t let the size fool you. The FD2 is loaded with luxury, featuring a foam-packed power sofa with three seatbelts that easily converts into a comfortable rear bed. The galley includes a microwave, a 3.5 cu. ft. compressor-driven refrigerator, and a built-in induction cooktop.
The all-in-one wet bath includes a toilet and shower, supported by a macerator pump with a power hose reel, exterior shower, and a tankless diesel-powered hot water heater and furnace. A powerful Gree rooftop air conditioner keeps the cabin cool, while power comes standard from an Onan generator—with an optional lithium power pack available for true off-grid adventures.
Despite its compact size, the FD2 doesn’t compromise on craftsmanship. Owners will enjoy soft-touch wall and ceiling materials, custom seating, and beautifully finished in-house woodwork that sets Midwest apart.
