The Coachmen RV Remote 17R is designed for simple, efficient camping in a compact footprint that’s easy to tow and easy to live in. Everything in this layout is positioned to support short trips, quick setup, and comfortable day-to-day use without unnecessary complexity.

Living Area & Dining

The booth dinette provides a dedicated space for meals, work, or card games, and can convert to additional sleeping space when needed. Its placement keeps the main walkway clear while allowing the living area to serve multiple purposes throughout the day.

Kitchen

The kitchen is set up for straightforward meal prep, with a two-burner cooktop, microwave, and a double-door 12V refrigerator grouped together for easy access. Storage is positioned where it’s used most, keeping counters usable and the space organized. For outdoor cooking, the mounted cast-iron griddle with prep bar gives you an option to cook outside without moving food through the interior.

Bedroom

The front sleeping area includes a 54" x 74" bed sized for two adults, positioned to allow access without blocking walkways. Overhead storage and nearby outlets support nightly use while keeping the sleeping space separate from the bathroom and dinette.

Rear Bathroom

The full rear bathroom provides a dedicated space that doesn’t interfere with the rest of the trailer. A shower with skylight brings in natural light, while the vanity, sink, and overhead storage support daily routines without crowding the living area.

Exterior & Storage

Exterior storage compartments offer space for camping gear and essentials, with magnetic latches helping keep doors secure. An outside hot and cold shower adds convenience for cleanup, and the power awning with LED lighting creates usable outdoor living space day or night.

Construction & Systems

The Remote 17R is built on Coachmen’s Aluma-cage construction with vacuum-bonded laminated Azdel/fiberglass walls and a crowned laminated roof. The mandatory Wilderness and Remote Packages include 16" all-terrain tires with aluminum rims, a 200-watt solar panel with controller, 15,000 BTU air conditioning, tankless water heater, insulated and heated holding tanks, and four stabilizer jacks. These systems support travel flexibility while keeping the trailer easy to maintain.
