No. of Floorplans Unloaded Weight Sleeps Length
23 12300-14500 lbs 4-7 24-32 feet

Why we recommend the Thor Chateau class C motorhome: Thor Chateau had made it on the 2017 iteration of this list, and our choice hasn’t changed. If anything, Thor has made quite a few improvements to the Chateau with new floorplans, better sleeping capacity and better features. Its adequately constructed too, with the Chateau 22B weighing 12300 pounds and holding 4 people. All 23 floorplans have bunk over cab but the maximum sleeping capacity you can get is 7 on a floorplan like the Chateau 30D.

Feature-wise, the Chateau has definitely set itself apart. For instance, it has swiveling seat on both drivers and passanger’s chairs in the cockpit for 2 people to sit on when you’re at the campground. In the kitchen, a 16 feet refrigerator easily raises and eyebrow and once you notice everything else it has to offer, you’d already be willing to seal the deal. Of course, if you’re one or two years into the trailer and wish for an ‘oomph’, it has a variety of options to add new features or upgrade existing ones too, making it an awesome class c motorhome with bunk beds.

So. Many. Floorplans!

20 8140-12728 lbs 5-8 23-31 feet

Why we recommend Coachmen Freelander class C motorhome: If you need something on the lighter end with a higher sleeping capacity, then the freelander should set you in the right direction. All of its 20 floorplans have bunkhouses ranging from the Freelander 20CB Ford starting at 23 feet all the way to the 12728-pounder 31-feet-long Freelander 32FS Ford. There are many of them in between that are a good mix of length, weight and sleeping capacity so be sure to check them out too!

Heading onto the features, on the outside the Freelander is constructed using azdel composite, and also features a walkable roof making it good for tailgating. Head on inside and you’ll notice that it also has a booth dinette and reclining driver and passanger seats. Of course, all of this can also be upgraded in the future (or right away) such as an upgraded A/C or a 32-inch TV and DVD in coach. All in all, the Freelander is a top-notch class C motorhome with bunk beds!

18 10288-12867 lbs 5-9 24-32 feet

Why we recommend the Coachmen Leprechaun class C motorhome: The Coachmen Leprechaun is another one which made our list last year. The number of floorplans or the physical specs haven’t changed since last year, but coachmen has added some new features to make it better over the existing modes, but more on that later. The Leprechaun 280BH Ford 450 and the Leprechaun 310BH Ford 450 are our top choices because of their sleeping capacity, but be sure to check out the other ones, as they are just as good as any class C motorhome with bunk beds out there!

Heading onto the features, we found the even-cool A/C ducting system and the upgraded vinyl flooring quite impressive, but most folks would probably be more interested in the U-shaped dinette and the reclining passanger and driver seats that this RV has to offer. Safety is also taken care of as the Leprechaun as safety measures such as carbon monoxide and smoke detectors put into place and lastly, there are numerous upgrades to opt for in order to expand this class Cs capabilities, making the Leprechaun the complete package!

12 12500-14500 lbs 5-8 24-32 feet

Why we recommend the Gulf Stream Conquest class C motorhome: Of the gulf stream’s number of RVs is one particular class C called the conquest which definitely had our attention, and for a good reason. Despite its comparatively decent spec sheet, it has some features that actually made it stand apart. Of course, its decent spec sheet does feature floorplans with bunk beds such as the Conquest 6526 and the Conquest 63111.

On the inside, the conquest features Roanoke light cherry cabinetry and a skydome shower while being solidly constructed out of aluminum on the outside. Standalone upgrades aside, it also features an already added package that brings many new luxury based features such as a number of stainless steel applicances and an IRD dual battery charging system. These, along with its solid rating of 4.8 stars, makes us recommend the Gulf Stream conquest as a good class C motorhome with bunk beds.

7 14200-14500 lbs 3-10 24-33 feet

Why we recommend Jayco Redhawk class C motorhome: Jayco’s Redhawk is often shadowed by the its Greyhawk cousin simply due to the fact that the latter is the more popular one. However, the Redhawk is actually a better choice if one were to consider a good class C motorhome with bunk beds. Its maximum sleeping capacity is actually 10 people on the Redhawk 31XL floorplan and 3 on the Redhawk 22J floorplan, making it quite versatile for people with different requirements, all within just 7 floorplans, which is saying something.

The Redhawk is no slouch when it comes to driving features either, which is evident when you notice that it sports power anti-lock brakes, power steering and side view remote controlled mirrors. Looks are paid attention to as well since it features linoleum flooring. You can also upgrade the regular awning to the 12V electric patio awning or maybe add a rear view backup camera with its optionals (check the out the full list, it’s a long one!). In a nutshell, we find no reason to not recommend the Redhawk is a great class C.
