This truck camper is perfect for two people wanting to hit the open road with a home on the back of their 1/2 ton or larger full size short bed (6' 4" to 6' 10") or long bed truck (8')! Start each morning feeling clean and well rested after sleeping on the front cabover queen bed and showering in the wet bath. There is storage on either side of the bed, a TV stand at the foot of the bed on one side, and a wardrobe on the other side, plus a second wardrobe next to the three burner stove with high output burner and sink. Once you have prepared a delicious home cooked meal, you can enjoy it at the U-shaped dinette and even transform it into an extra sleeping space!
A long lasting, quality craftsmanship is what you will find with each one of these Northstar Hardside truck campers! They have a 5/8" underlayment floor that covers your truck bed, a reinforced frame, and galvanized steel corners to help your camper last longer. The fiberglass siding with graphics will turn heads down the highway and the walk-on rubber roof protects it. The auto ignition low amp draw furnace will keep you warm on those cooler nights and the 6" gel memory/high density foam mattress provides a comfortable place to rest up. Northstar Campers has been calling Cedar Falls, Iowa home since 1955 when the Willett family began manufacturing truck campers. The company was founded by Ralph (Tex) Willett, who along with his son Robert (Chuck), ran the company under the name of Texson Campers.
The father/son duo helped launch the company, building a reputation unmatched in the industry and creating a strong foundation for Chuck’s son, Rex. Rex took over the company in the 1980s, operating under the Northstar Campers name, which continues to this day.
We’ve been selling our campers to dealers since 1961, and Northstar’s campers are sold across the world to help families enjoy the outdoors and camping. From our facility at the corner of Leversee Road and Airline Highway in Cedar Falls, we’ve remained committed to improving our truck campers using proven construction technique while integrating modern materials.
