2016 3875FB Description

This Heartland Bighorn fifth wheel 3875FB is nothing short of spectacular! Triple slides, one and a half baths, a kings size bed, tons of storage, and the list goes on!

You will love camping in this spacious unit with at-home touches. As you enter notice how open it feels with the dual opposing slides fully extended in the main living area. There is a dining table with two chairs, and two rocker recliners in the slide to the left of the door. The rear wall features a hide-a-bed sofa providing ample living room seating, and an additional place to sleep for extra guests. There are overhead cabinets in every direction that allow you to stow away all the little things you might need while spending time away from home. The decorative glass inserts are a nice touch also.

The slide opposite the door features an entertainment center with LED TV, a pull-out area to use as a desk, and you can choose to add an optional electric fireplace for those cool chilly nights. You will also find in this slide the kitchen appliances which include a three burner range, microwave oven, refrigerator, and pantry. The counter island in the center features the double sink and a bunch of storage also. A floor to ceiling pantry can be found along the interior wall just off the half bath.

The half bath features a toilet, vanity with sink and overhead cabinet, plus linen storage.

Head up the steps to the master bedroom and front master on suite bath. The bedroom offers a king bed slide with storage beneath. There is a dresser opposite the bed along with a double door storage cabinet.

The front master bath features a tub/shower, toilet, large vanity with sink, and plenty of storage drawers, plus an overhead medicine cabinet. There is a wardrobe closet that has been prepped for a washer and dryer, and a full front wardrobe with sliding doors including built in drawers, plus a space to hang your clothes, and so much more!

You can also choose to have an optional walk-in pantry with desk and shelving in place of the half bath if you like.

3875FB Reviews

  • Very Large Private Front Bathroom

Review Photo What I liked most: Plenty of exterior storage with the pass-through storage having large doors on either side. The outdoor entertainment center with television and speakers is a nice touch. Beautiful exterior colors and graphics pattern. Wonderful master bedroom with plenty of storage that passes through to a front bath large shower with seat, vanity, sink, and large wardrobe at the very front of the coach. Very unique and very private bath area. Large island kitchen with plenty of extra counter space on the island.

What I'd improve: Truly difficult to find anything I would impprove.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC, Elkhart, Ind., was founded in 2003 by a quintet of RV veterans. Their philosophy is lower numbers mean a better market and better dealers. That was one of the reasons why all of them left their previous companies to bring Heartland RV to the public.

The first product created by Heartland was a high-end fifth wheel. The LANDMARK which was aimed at extended-stay RVers who spend a lot of time in their coaches at one location was picked to create first on purpose because it was going to be the hardest to build and they wanted to prove that they could do it and do it right.

Because of the success with the Landmark they were able to introduce the BIGHORN in 2004. From this debut, Heartland doubled its dealer base, and added three new coaches in 2005, the CYCLONE toy hauler, SUNDANCE mid-profile fifth wheel, and the entry level line callled the TRAIL RUNNER.

In 2006, Heartland broke ground on a new 110,000 sq. ft. production facility with a new corporate office structure attached.  By the spring of 2006, Heartland had moved into the Top Ten 5th wheel manufacturers, and by the end of the year were solidly #8 with their eyes toward the #5 spot.  Heartland was again poised for growth and launched the BIG COUNTRY 5th wheel and RAZOR toy hauler.
In the spring of 2007, Heartland introduced the NORTH TRAIL line of laminated construction light weight travel trailers and 5th wheels. Continued growth continued and in 2008 another expansion in a new 80,000 sq. ft. facility to produce NORTH COUNTRY wood constructed aluminum sided travel trailers.  The North Country builds on Heartlands tradition of doing it better and doing things right.  In just a few short years Heartland is now #3 in 5th wheels and closing in fast on being among the top 5 towable manufacturers of 5th wheels and travel trailers combined.

Their goal is not to be a high volume company. Heartland aims to create demand from their dealers and for their dealers, and keep innovations going. With notable technological accomplishments like the Patented improved 88 degree turning radius for extended-cab or short-bed pickup trucks and the development of a universal docking center they have proven year after year that they are well on their way to doing exactly what they set out to do!
