Cricket Folding Couch Description

Step into the future of camping in this "folding-couch" Cricket pop-up camper and enjoy camping like never before. It is an athletic den by day with a sofa and a multi-positioning table for dining, browsing on your laptop, or even fine dining. At night, the couch folds down and you can tuck yourself into its comfort.

The Cricket campers swivel table goes from breakfast in bed to a coffee table in a blink, and a wall of screened windows provides a wonderful panoramic view while allowing air flow throughout the camper.

The kitchen/shower/potty amenities are all cleverly tucking into the anterior of the camper and include a 12V outlet to keep your must-have personal electronics charged.

There is plenty of storage underneath the sofa/bed that allows you to bring whatever you need. You can also choose the optional attic beds for children (under 100 lbs.) to neatly store more gear during the day when they are not being used.

There are also several optional items that you can choose from to make each adventure the most enjoyable.

Cricket Trailers began in 1999.  Then NASA architect and designer, Garret Finney, while working on the "habitation module" (NASA -speak for the place where astronauts eat, sleep, bathe, relax--there home away from home) in Houston, Texas, began his dream of creating something that would combine his love of the outdoors with his NASA experience.

Finney as a young boy was always fascinated with small environments and how these spaces were connected to the outside world.  After becoming a husband and father and an accomplished "space" architect he wanting to share his love of adventure and camping with his family.  So, he combined his NASA experience with his love of the outdoors and created an innovative lightweight, compact, and flexible small environment that he and his family could explore the world in.  That is how the "Cricket" was born!
