Imagine going from campsite to relaxation in 30 seconds flat. Now that's how vacations should start, and the 2008 Columbia NW Aliner is all about making that happen. The light weight design allows the Aliner to be easily towed with most vehicles, including cars and minivans. The compact size allows the unit to be stored in most garages, but the large windows and skylights allow ample light and easy access to breathtaking view.
This year the Aliner is providing you the choice of six different models. Starting off with the Classic which is Aliner's #1 seller with 3 floorplan models. The Expedition this year was completely redesigned to provide you a longer, wider trailer with higher side walls. Perfect any family Expedition. The Ease shares the same chassis and box design as the Expedition but provides a full bath instead of the storage trunk so no late night bathroom trip with shoes and flashlight required. The Sport is a little shorter than the Classic but with the same amenities. Designed for smaller cars and perfect for those father son fishing trips.
The Scout is Aliner's least expensive option. Designed for the avid camper who has everything they need for exploring the great outdoors already. But with the Scout you are guaranteed to wake up dry without a sore back. Finally, Aliner's most compact camper, weighing in at less than 400 lbs., the Alite can even be towed into the woods by a quad. It may have limited standards and options but the locations you can take it are limitless. So, if you want a camper that will last for years to come, and can have you relaxing in seconds the next time you decide to go camping, choose a Columbia NW Aliner travel trailer. Ready. Set. Camp!

What I liked most: Hard sided walls and roof enabled us to mount solar panels at an improved angle, interior height, feels like a regular tag along trailer yet it folds to pop up height, light weight, decent construction, attractive.
What I'd improve: Our trailer is an older one so I do not know what improvements have been made.

We’re not talking about tow vehicles. We’re talking about inspiration. So what’s our inspiration?
The outdoors for one. Almost everyone in the Aliner family is an outdoor enthusiast. It’s no coincidence that Aliner customers are as well. They want to be set up in 30 seconds then go for a hike. Not sit inside and watch a 50-inch flat screen.
Another inspiration? The spirit of innovation. We’ve always done things a little differently, dating back to the company’s founder, Ralph Tait. It’s this innovative spirit that led to the first “A-frame” camper. The same spirit drives us today in our search for ways to improve each Aliner.
And finally, you, the customer. You’re the inspiration behind our core values that include honesty with everyone we deal with, respect for each other and the environment, and good old-fashioned hard work. This is the foundation of Aliner. Always has been. Always will be.
